    Need this to go over.

IB the virtual bookie had it listed as needing to go over 8.5?

    Round 7

Darchinyan reaches with right jabs, but Yamanaka steps back and then extends his own jab all the way in for a light scoring tap on the face - and to blind Darchinyan to the left hands whistling in from on high. Yamanaka looks very comfortable now, shimmying side to side and waiting for Darchinyan with his right arm held down at his hip. Yamanaka clearly has some ideas about the hand and foot speed of Darchinyan halfway through, getting very brash in his body language. Quick right jabs by Yamanaka, so far able to get away with his cockiness and make Darchinyan pay for lunging slowly in with lefts from the hip.

    68-65 Yamanaka

Correct. So you want another 4 minutes 30 seconds of action.

Better from Vic, nice uppercut. Yamanaka not busy enough.

Unless Shin gets really dumb really fast (or Vic's corner completely botches the job stitching him up), I'm thinking we're headed for a 12 round decision. Sorry man.

    Round 8

Right jabs below the elbows from outside by Yamanaka. Darchinyan whips a left across but doesn't reach. Yamanaka ties up and pushes off. 1-2 by the Japanese southpaw while backing up, drawing Darchinyan into it. Yamanaka bounces around on his toes and tosses jabs into the bridge of Darchinyan's nose. Darchinyan is pushed involuntarily a few steps back by a jab. Darchinyan suddenly rushes forward with a lead left uppercut. Yamanaka is able to stifle it with downturned arms and only partially receive the blow. Darchinyan comes charging in, and Yamanaka pulls a little Tokyo Drift on him and check hooks him into the ropes with his right. Yamanaka is dancing around, clipped with a left but mostly making Darchinyan lunge and miss badly. Nice right hook to get off the ropes by Yamanaka.

    78-74 Yamanaka

Vic used the jab in the past 2 rounds and won them. Good flurry at the end by Yamanaka, but a little gunshy in the past few minutes.
