That last round is one of the most ringing endorsements that Lennox was going to win as any you're going to find. He caught Vit bad, first with the uppercut, then with the (IMO far more damaging) overhand right against the ropes near the end of the round, which had Vit stumbling and desperately trying to clinch. What did Vit land in that round? Nothing of much consequence, I could see. His punches lacked snap, he was being pushed back, and his eye of course was a bloody mess. Looked absolutely knackered as well. Lennox wasn't exactly Mr Fresh either, but he had that momentum on his side, that confidence. You could tell he was in the ascendance and Vitali was on the wane.

Hardcore Klit fans like to always bring up the scorecards here. Who won that last round on all three judges scorecards? Certainly wasn't Vitali was it? So what basis do you have for saying that he would have suddenly turned things around in the seventh?

Its been almost a ****ing decade loser. there have been other fights since then! Holy ****, when will you guys get the the **** over Lewis TKO 6! Vitali had his chance against out of shape, unmotivated and vulnerable and could not get the job done. From what I remember is that the first couple of rounds was close and LL started to tag that ass and at the end of the round K1 was hanging on for dear life. Vitali is SSSSSooo overrated when it comes to power . . . yeah, yeah KO% . . . BS, BS, BS . . . Get a damn Life!

I have no trouble with Lewis winning "on a cut", what I do have trouble with is his fans covering for him and are actually happy he **** in their face by running away. I think its because they hate Vitali far more than they ever liked Lewis...

Official result is TKO6 in favour of Lewis. Vitaly won event.
It was hell of a fight where both boxers were putting effort.
I can't see what to argue about, there never going to be rematch so it is what it is, accept it and let it go.
Yes Vitaly gave Lennox very serious run for his money, yes Lewis took some serious beating and gave it back. Yes Vitaly took it and wanted to go on but doctor stopped it.

If there's one thing to argue about it's why Arreola/Dimitrenko/Boytsov/Chambers/Thompson/Povetkin/etc not fighting among them and why they are not showing same level of determination and will as we saw in the fight between Lewis and Vitali.

Vitali was competivite, but nothing more. The last rounds were messy and close, but it was Lewis who took them. Lots of grappling, and the Klitschko brothers have no inside game. None.

I guess Vitali made a point out of giving Lewis a fight, even if was an old version. Since Lewis might be the head to head most dangerous heavy ever.

I am a fan of the Klitschko bro's, but I dont think old men have a duty to step into the ring with fresch, hungry lions they have already defeated once.

evidently you think Lewis should have been a kind bloke and aimed his punches to avoid the cut? be a gentleman and punch around the cut area? try and open a cut on the other other eye instead?

    cretin.
