    :rofl Hell no. Best of this era perhaps. Duran, Leonard, Hagler, and Hearns became great by fighting the best of their era they would literally laugh to death at Floyds competition. Duran greatest lightweight. Leonard top 3 WW and regarded as the greatest of the Fab 4. Hagler along with Monzon greatest middleweight. And Hearns greatest 154lber and top 5 WW. Best of the best.     Film tells us there have been a few superior fighters (in the filmed era).

    I stress just a few, though.


    Mayweather calling himself the GOAT is patently absurd.

    Haters suggesting he's not even high up on ATG lists is even more so.

    It was to be expected people get their panties in a twist over some still relatively obscure statistical data. Floyd calling himself the GOAT reaches deep into delusion although that mindset keeps him sharp in all likelihood. One thing is that for all his loose cannon arrogance, He's never been one to take his skills and ability for granted. People can nitpick his record they want... He couldve been smoked numerous times already if he wasnt All In.
