Five-division titleholder, Sugar Ray Leonard, expressed his opinions concerning the hypothetical case of a match-up between himself and six-time, five-division titlewinner Floyd Mayweatther Jr. and eight-division belt-winner Manny Pacquiao during a candid interview

PS - If such a thread already exists, then dispose of this... Quietly...

  2. Mayweather and Pacquiao would both be smart enough to avoid Leonard and Hearns like the plague, if their current behavior is to be considered in this debate.

    Let me guess...

Pac has been doubted before, and since he beat the corpse of Oscar, and a disgraced Margarito, he could overcome the 'haters' again and beat Tommy Hearns or SRL.

as if he would say he would lose to either of them, or try and make his era sound weak

    ...

still i tend to agree with him

I think he would get Pacquiao almost without question.

Mayweather....I think Hearns might even get that job done.

But Hearns is one of the best ever h2h (top 12 or 14) at a weight where neither Mayweather or Pacquiao are at their respective best h2h.

Both Leonard and Hearns will knock out Pacman as would PBF frankly.

He would KO Manny because Manny likes to trade. I think Mayweather would win a decision on Hearns but lose a decision to Leonard.

p4p mayweather at 130 could really bang hard, was insanely quick, had impecable defence and offence

if he could be that fighter at 147 he would beat SRL

But 147 SRL against 147 Floyd is a different story... but even that would be a tough fight for SRL
