Prime Sugar Ray Leonard versus Prime Floyd Mayweather Jnr for the Welterweight Championship.

    Who wins?

The Baldomir version of Floyd could dance and pot shot for early but Ray would finish strong, knocking him down or possibly stopping him.

Floyd asks for drug tests in the ring and offers SRL a 98%-2% split. Then *****s will claim SRL is ducking for turning down his biggest payday.

    Why 146?
If it's at 146 a lot depends on what Leonard as a welterweight walks around at and rather we are talking about welterweight Mayweather or light welterweight Mayweather.
    More information is needed.

Leonard would win, but it wouldn't be as easy as people are trying to make it seem.

SRL would always be a stylistic and physical mismatch for Floyd.

He was too big, too fast, too active, too equally skilled offensively, and he had too good a chin.

I'm old enough that I've seen most of SRL's fights. He was great and I give him the edge in power and reach, however, I think Mayweather is actually a little quicker. With the right gameplan, which Floyd always has, he could give SRL some problems.

Still, I think that SRL's reach and combination punching would carry the cards over Mayweather's accurate one-shot counters.
