Technically, yes, it was for LHW.

But that was a huge load of bollocks.

SRL was in the driver's seat there. (If he could dictate terms to Hagler, Lalonde was in no position to argue the conditions.)

Lalond held a LHW belt and Leonard made him drop to 168 so that BOTH the new SMW and LHW belts would be on the line. And a weight-drained Donny succumbed.

    I consider Leonard a 3 division champion.

At least on the 50 % of times that I believe he beat Hagler. :yep

I feel strongly that money may decisions hearns. I think hearns would stop Pac. I think Pac has a better match up with Leonard. Is say Pac 30% vs Leonard. I think May vs Leonard is pickem. I'd pay cash money to see May vs Leonard.

Hearns would definitely KO them both. It would be ****ing ugly, actually. I would be afraid for either man's health against him in all honesty.

Call me a *****, but i genuinely believe it is Arum that has stopped the fight happening from day one

Even Ariza has said on his twitter it is Arum 100% stopping the fight

I reckon Both Pac and Floyd are game to fight.

Arum just dosnt want to lose the revenue he gets from pac. If They had fought from the first negations and Pac had lost, Arum wouldn't have been able to make the money that he has made. Obviously pac would still be a huge draw and make millions, but not at the scale that he has done. As if he would still be able to fill the cowboy stadium fighting clottey.

The Mayweather camp obviously think Pac cheats in his training camps to gain an advantage and Arum has spun that suspicion very successfully to say Mayweather is scared.

Arum has been in the game alot longer than Mayweathers promotors and has used all his experience wisley

Hearns and Leonard both KO Pacquiao inside of 8 or 9 rounds. Both Tommy and Ray are 147lb'ers with one punch KO power and Pacquiao gets hit WAY too much.

If Tommy and Ray were fighting today @ 147 Pacquiao avoids them both like the plague...

May or may not be true.

All we know for sure is that it was Floyd who threw up the bull**** roadblock that initially scuttled the fight.

So the 5'10" Welterweight Kingpin believes that that he and contemporay 6'2" WW Tommy Hearns would knock out 2 5'6"/5'"8 lightweights. What a surprise. Almost like Mike Tyson believing he could Knock out Roy Jones. Obvious is obvious.

If Tommy and Ray were fighting today @ 147, Pac would beat both on the same night !

    A 54 yr old and a 56 yr old, both massively weight-drained.:yep

I just hate comparisons between ATG's that are blatant physical disparities.

oh so you want to talk about fighting smaller guys ? How many times Flod been Knocked down even? Floyd could box with both even at 147 although Floys is really a 140 lb fighter

He did but he weighed 165lbs for that fight so didnt think it really counted as a proper light heavyweight bout.
