Wow! That's pretty harsh, but essentially true. During the time SRL and Hearns were at 147 PBF and Pac would have been smart enough and well managed enough to stay at 140 and below.

    WTF?

Leonard will KO both and there is no debate about it!

He is way too big, and with power and skills.

Pac weighed not more han 150 while fighting as a welterweight, where in todays 1 day before the fight weigh-in, a normal welter would be close to 160.

I don't think the shoulder roll works against SRL.

I agree wit Leonards statement. He would
have a tough time with Mayweather but
connect with flurries late and he had more determination
and more power. Same thing with Pac. Hearns had the
right hand and the reach and height to finish Pac and
Mayweather. Hearns and SRL were killers this was
    the 80s son haha.

Who didn't respect Floyd's power? Baldomir? If Tommy gassed out it could be a problem, but he probably wouldn't.

SRL could be outboxed and out fought.... I.e. Hearn outboxed him and Duran out fought him. He's not knocking Mayweather out, let's just forget that. Prime Mayweather has a chance to win a decision. While SRL had great boxing skills, people tend to over due it... he was a puncher boxer.... boxer secondary. Against Manny, I don't think he KO's him. I think SRL could out box Manny, but I don't think he sould try to outfight him.

Hearns though... I dunno. I think Hearns would match up better. He was tall, great jab, great right hand. I dont see Manny surviving this one. Mayweather wouldn't have much of a chance... just based on the reach. He would get out pointed, I think. Really Manny and Floyd, if we are referring to their primes, are both too small. I still think Mayweather could outbox SRL though, but Hearns was too big/freakish.

Im not … Hearns had a long fast Jab which he could hook off of to the head and body.. That would be bad news for Floyd, because floyd would be facing a fighter that could thread a needle with his right hand and like floyd he was both accurate and quick with the right. Hearn right hand would be one right hand nether he or pac would be able to shake off.

Sugar Ray Leonard is the fighter that I dislike the most in the history of the sport, but he is without a doubt, the best welter I've seen in my lifetime.Tommy Hearns is a fighter that I'm not a fan of,but I respect him an awful lot and is the 2nd best welter I've seen in my lifetime.Neither Manny nor Floyd have beaten a great welter, and neither one of them have ever fought anyone p4p close to either Leonard or Hearns at any weight, forget about at welter.Plus, their greatest advantages at 147 over lesser opponents, speed and quickness, are nullified by both Leonard and Hearns. That coupled with the fact that L and H are natural welters whereas Pac and May are not,and what you have is both Tommy and Lenny going 2-0 against Pac and May, both by knockout.

Do you not understand That Hearns and Leonard are huge welters ? Pac and Jr are Lightweights or lower. Try analyzing boxing for a change instead of being a blind supporter!

Are there people here that actually believe that Lil Floyd and Littler Pac would stand a chance against SRL and Hearns at 147?? FFS. There are some crazy-ignorant people on this site.

I agree. Hearns and Leonard were better than these guys. Pacman is great. Mayweather is not ATG yet. but Hearns and Leonard were big strong legendary welterweights.

I think SRL is correct. I worked the corner against Hearns in Hawaii. One of my boxers fought him at Light Heavyweight and Tommy was a big, powerful man. He won titles from welterweight to cruiserweight. Pac Man and Mayweather are great fighters but Leonard and Hearns are two of the greatest ever.

the only guy who outfought Leonard was Hearns because of height and reach, and Ray still won. Ray would be too much for Mayweather and Pacman.
