    Evander Holyfield - Pinklon Thomas

A young Holyfield a few fights into his Heavyweight transition, and still at less than 20 fights (I think) puts a very one-sided beatdown to the underrated Thomas. Holyfield comes in with a great gameplan, throwing combinations to head and body, particularly effective with the left hooks. After a few rounds of taking seriously hard bodyshots, Pinklon has the metaphorical concrete boots on. After the first 3 it's essentially Holyfield teeing off on Pinklon showing what a great heart and chin Pinklon had.

Holyfield had Pinklon rocked at numerous occasions until after a sustained beating on the ropes at the end of the seventh causes Angelo Dundee to pull Thomas out.

I don't recall watching it, but my memory is shot so I may have. I'll give it a watch this weekend as we're a little light on the ground with live boxing. :good

You scored it much wider than I ever have but it was a great fight. Qawi was much better at light-heavyweight.

    Holyfield-Czyz

Holyfield a little to eager to stop his man in this one, but Czyz was a tough mother****er and wasn't budging. Lampley going on about how many wars Holy' has had and how he thinks he's declined - can't believe he's still fighting 16 years later! 'Vander taking more shots than he needs to, but that's nothing new, and his punches didn't seem that effective however he did have Czyz rocked a few times. Odd finish, Czyz' eyes looked bloodshot, complaining about his eyes burning ala Ali-Liston. Czyz withdraws due to his eyes.

    Seriously good footwork there!

    Campillo-Murat I.
The other big robbery that Campillo suffered. He made Murat appear completely clueless with his jab and one-two, excellent defense and he was superb countering with combinations off the ropes. Excellent fighter who's been shamefully treated.

I am a massive boxing fan and a great expert but I never watch any fights. It's a waste of time. All you need to do is to follow Boxrec rankings and points.

Zamora-Zarate, a proper shooting Zamora was a lunatic only seen two previous but he seemed even more aggressive in this. Need to watch some Zarate now.

    Bobby Chacon-Danny Lopez

Quality action this Chacon couldn't miss with the right hand at all and barely with the left hook, Lopez seems like one tough ****er i was beginning to wince when he was taking the big shots in the 8th glad it didn't go on much longer.

Watched Duran-Buchanan. Buchanan was a tough sob. He did well to take as many good shots as he did and take it to 13. The ending was controversial, but there was no doubt who was going to win it.
