Not very nice PP, I do not like it when an elder gets insulted,especially someone as smart,experienced and courteous as Burt....I know this is all cyber talk but if we were all present in one room I may have to convince you the value of respect of the elders. I am in my 50's but can still KO a man with either hand and when I am unable as time goes buy I think I will still be able to swing a bat to the pleasant sound of crackling bones and I think Burt can do the same....be nice PP

yeah, and burt is polite even when he's in a rage. pp's comment had an "age-ist" element to it anyhow. There's no more need to focus on someone being a senior citizen than there is to incorporate racist and sexist slurs into 'internet banter' (and i know that goes on to).
Anyway... Sometimes I think we miss the point on Dempsey-Wills. It's not what would have happened had they fought because Wills was just the sort of big lumbering puncher that Dempsey made a name by kicking the ever lovin' **** out of. To me the match is one of the easiest hypotheticals out there. Dempsey by KO pretty much anytime up to his hiatus. But these fights are not fought on paper and that fact that he did not get a shot is criminal and a black stain on Dempsey's reign.
Well if it happens ahead of people starting things by throwing around obscene and absolutely shockingly disrespectful insults at elders and then others positively encouraging people doing that then there is something VERY VERY wrong somewhere - you should have enough brain power to figure that out so do yourself a favour stop making it look like your backing up the assholes on here else your more likely to get the chop than me - if the people who run this board are sane adults with any real sense of justice that is

split, i think it's over. pp said some ****, got some flack, now it's done. the forum always has guys that push it a bit over that line. it helps sometimes to keep things from getting TOO heated. disrespectful? sure. i've been disrespected on here for YEARS...i was almost killed for a robinson thread way back. we can't take it personally or too seriously
