I find it hard to disagree.

I would put Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard as solid favorites over both Mayweather and Paquiao. They would both be live underdogs but smart money is on the 80s guys.

I think Floyd would be more competitive with SRL than he would be with Hearns.
I think Pac would be more competitive with Hearns than he would be with SRL.

Well, great bigger guys vs great smaller ones. It's to be expected I think. Floyd wouldn't be easy for anyone to KO unless they caught him in the first 3 or 4 rounds.

Hagler is a MW, so it's different. At MW Hagler has to make anyone's top 3, I would rank him number 2 H2H only behind Sugar Ray Robinson.

I agree with everything you said except Pac hurting Hearns. Pac has hurt who at WW today to make you think he could hurt Hearns who was a monster at that weight. SRL hurt and stopped Hearns at that weight, but it was due to fatigue. I don't see any other verdict, but a KO win for Hearns within six rounds. Hearns speed, power and more importantly his reach would be Pac's demise.

I also believe he was out boxing SRL and was indeed getting tired. Dundee and SRL knew Hearns never went the 15 round distance, but due to heart and determination and the fact that Dundee empowered SRL with the "Your blowing it son statement". SRL delivered like so many other fighters should be doing when their trainers give them good advice. Hearns just needed to stay on his feet and he would have won. I remember that fight like it was yesterday. Damn, people in Detriot lost mortgages over betting on Hearns.

they would beat both.....Mayweather is a true lightweight and Manny more of a natural junir lightweight...these guys are all-time great welterweights....Its like sayiing how would Wilfredo Gomez do against Mayweather at 130...he won a belt but is at a disadvantage...dudes prime was 122................Hearns is 6'2" and has won titles as high as light heavyweight...Leonard fought guys at 168....its not any indication of how great Mayweather and Manny are

Oscar owns the Ring Magazine. Is Oscar the number one all time WW? Just joking, but I seriously can't see how Hearns cannot make the top ten WW of all time.

There is an argument that Hearns doesn't make the all time WW top 10. His resume at WW is not as good as it could of been. It could be argued that he needed the SRL fight.

H2H he's in the top 3 no doubt, but if a list is compiled on resume then there is doubt

Leonard would struggle with Mayeather....he would be the most elusive fighter and best counterpuncher he has faced...also they are relatively the same height give or take an inch...Leonard struggled with Benitez who hardlt trained and was a defensive specialist, he wouldnt kayo Leonard.....if he tried to box Mayweather he probably would win a close compeitive fight or a close loss.......if he fights Mayweather like he did Hearns in the 2nd half of their first fight...he wins 8-4 or decision

Every fighter struggles with Mayweather to a degree because of his defense and speed, but Leonard would be two inches taller, as well as physically bigger, with two inches more reach, just as fast, with much more power (one of the greatest closers to ever fight), much higher workrate, and an atg chin and heart. Watch the Benitez fight again. The reality is that SRL beat Benitez' ass. Floyd is an ATG 130-135 fighter, but seriously, at 147, he gets his ass handed to him by Leonard and especially 6'1" Hearns.

Both much bigger men. Leonard had power in both hands and a solid chin. I dont think either of todays greats could hurt him.

Hearns would probably stop Manny and possibly even Mayweather.
Leonard would probably stop Pacman and UD Mayweather.

Mayweather and Pacman would definitely be fighting of the backfoot all night I think.
