I'm not entirely sure what country you're from but in the U.S., atheists are the most hated minority there is. Then again the majority of the country rejects evolution and we now test 25th in the world in math and aren't even in the top 10 in science anymore... but we're the most arrogant in our (non-existant) mathematical abilities... a strange dichotomy.

You don't get it. Without a fundamental basis on which to guide human behavior, IE the 10 Commandments for instance, man will create their own laws to adapt to the circumstances. If men have no one to fear, they will do as they wish. Think the world as one big piece of pie. There is only so much pie to go around, and everyone wants a piece. With more and more people, each piece of pie gets smaller and smaller. Those at the top already keep those at the bottom in their place, and they don't want a smaller piece of pie. They don't want "their" world to be "our" world. They are arrogant enough to believe that it is THEIR world. And we are nobody in their eyes, and they will manipulate the laws to keep us in place. And when laws and containment are not enough, they will find new ways to get rid of people. They'll start with the massacre of the poor, then they'll move on to Christians. If you were familiar with the words of Christ, you would know that everything you see around you has already been stated. It's no secret. There is not much time left, and when you got a pistol against your head, we'll see what you say then. We'll see where you get your strength. You might be insulated where you are, but all the demons around you are lickin their chops, waitin for you to **** up, so they can drag you down to the depths of hell, or even worse, bring hell up here with us. You've never had the dislpleasure of meeting a REAL atheist. And I don't mean sociopath, I mean an opportunist. He don't believe in God, so there are no rules. He makes his own rules. Only the weak minded need to be told how to behave. Those of us with a functioning brain can distinguish between what is right and wrong without some ancient text telling us how people used to live. This is as deluded as a fundamentlist christian can get. The man you describe is not an atheist, he's a mentalist. Your fear is holding you back intellectually, take the teachings from your books, without taking the literal things, and the hatred for people who don't feel like you do. People with mental issues aren't all atheist's, and vice versa, the majority of the world's war is down to religion, and in the name of religion. Go figure.
