Hahaha. As a Hamed fan,you do realize he was ALWAYS a lazy trainer that ALWAYS eschewed roadwork.Nah.You're just another Hamed excuse maker.Having said that,I can't speak for the rest of my countryman, but I KNEW MAB was going to whip him.Genius? He had one of the lowest boxing IQs I've ever seen.Just because someone knows how to behave like a flashy *******,that DOES NOT make him an elite fighter, which was obviously proven.

    The score cards read:

    116-111, 115-112 and 115-112

I'm a big fan of Barerra, but a fully focused, trained & disciplined Hamed bridges those gaps...

Exactly. A prime MAB won only 7-8 rounds against an unmotivated and undisciplined Naz.

1st off, watch the fight again and tell me those cards were accurate.Just watch it again.I had the fight 10-2 rounds being generous to Hamed as his rounds were much closer than Mab's,minus the point that was deducted due to MAB's foul and being confident of the gap in scoring, and I have it 117-110.If you believe 116-111,then it's 9-3.If you believe it's 115-112,then it's 8-4.I saw MAB embarrass a technically deficient Hamed.Funny how you wrote a "trained" Hamed because Hamed was always lazy.Funny how you mentioned a "disciplined" Hamed, because that NEVER existed. You sound like a closet Hamed fan.Cheers.

Everything I've read and heard about Hamed strongly indicates he had a terrible attitude towards training from early on in his pro career.

He himself stated on a number of occasions that he didn't do roadwork.

Hamed's hubris was such that he didn't believe that normal conventions of boxing applied to him. Due to his natural talent, the end result was still a good career, but one that fell well short of what it could have been.

Prince Naseem Hamed was a better fighter than Barrera..? Berrera gets the **** beaten out of in win or lose in almost every single one of his fights.

Prince Naseem Hamed just like Mike Tyson let life, and there own ego's affect there preparation, leading to their first defeats.

Its not a excuse, just a FACTOR! Prince Naseem Hamed was beaten by the better fighter on the night..? But in sports like football, tennis, NFL, Athletics.........if there where serious factors with affect a athlete's performance, people would take this into consideration.

    "Because its common sense".......

This is an almost perfect post!Although I just don't think Hamed could have been any better due to his flashy, all style and no substance personality as well as his miniscule boxing IQ.He took his talent as far as he could have and then was exposed when he finally stepped up.

Boxing IQ...? Did you see his fight vs Steve Robinson..? Prince Naseem Hamed could fight pretty text book if he wanted too. His boxing IQ was way above average, lets not be another one of these ****** ****wits who automatically tag gifted athlete's with the....."Oh he did'nt know the fundamentals of boxing"....what the **** are the fundamentals..? Bernard Hopkins throwing a right hand, and following through with his head into a clench..?
