The ESB news page reveals that Fury blew up to 320lbs+ and has had to lose 70 lbs over a recent two month period (questionable assertion by him IMO on losing 35 pounds a month for two months).

He certainly couldn't have pulled those pre-fight shenanigans if he were fighting Price, which he should be. But, just how vulnerable do you think that Fury might be to Rogan on Saturday?

none at all. small fighters cut massive amounts of weight weeks prior to fights and it doesnt seem to affect them, a giant of a man losing 35 lbs of fat per month is nothing

Look at riddick bowe, he cut huge amounts of weights prior to all his fights, in the end he burned out before turning 28....

I dont think he would be at all, I went from 176lbs to 140lbs in about a month and a half, didn't effect me physically, don't get me wrong I'm no professional boxer, but could still do everything in the gym what I was before (Needed to go down 2kg on the arms), also I think he is that much better than Rogan he could have came in at 320lbs and still won.

He weighted 257 pounds in his last fight and ballooned up to 322 (65 pounds gain). You're not healty at 322 and not in shape to train effectively. I think it'll affect his stamina.

Fury beat the man (Chisora) who beat the man (sexton) who already beat the man (Rogan) (TWICE!)

    It's a joke of a matchup.

There is a huge difference between having a training camp based around improving as a boxer, working on gameplans...being in shape to train and implementing these gameplans in to the camp. Compared to having a training camp based around losing huge amounts of weight, with the previously mentioned being relegated to priority #2.

Boxers need to learn from mistakes, he could have made one by not taking Rogan seriously. Now Rogan isn't the greatest, but he is tough, rough, and like any Heavyweight, he has a decent dig. Fury could have just made his mistake.

Where is the proof of this weight gain I have seen plenty of fury in pics over the last few months and he looks in the shape of his life.

Frazier beat Ali. Foreman beat Frazier. But that logical, Foreman - Ali would have been one hell of a mismatch!

It could affect him, yeah alot of boxers lose alot of weight quick, especially heavyweights but im not very confident in the professionalism of his training teams and these boxers usually have nutritional experts in the camp, im guessin Fury has an uncle or somebody doin that job and they just told him to stop eating for a week or something stupid.

Dont think it will cost him this fight but ive said it all along, until Tyson and his camp start acting professional and start taking everything more seriously hes not guna get much further in the sport than where hes at now.

On second thought, you're right. For some reason I forgot Martin Rogan's skillset, heart, and level of competition was on par with Ali's. Thanks again.
