The fact him and RJJ never got it on was a disgrace. I think, DM in his prime, gives Jones a tough night. It would have been a GREAT fight. I've seen mostly highlights of DM, but I read in his prime he was tough a nails. Shame on RJJ for not fighting him. I blame RJJ more than I blame DM.

 

DM was happy to milk his WBO belt in Germany ! I can't imagine how anyone could take the blame for not wanting to fight in all places Germany ! I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to fight in Texas so why the hell would anyone want to fight in Germany :huh


DM's only claim to fame are his win over Hill and his calling out of Jones and thats it ! He didn't do much to solitify any legacy after the win over Hill !

 

Roy was so paranoid. If he went to Germany the judges be high-profile. DM was the champ, Roy should have gone there. It wasn't like 3 nobody/German judges would be assigned.

Graz was no RJJ. RJJ would not have dealt with ANY of that nonsense. RJJ would get a fair shake on Mars bro. **** the Olympics. He wasn't even pro yet. I think RJJ ducked him. RJJ ducked a lot of dudes at that time and was fighting scrubs. And I like RJJ.

 

The fight should have been made no question but a nuetral spot should have been negotiated ..But its tough considering both guys made a ton of money fighting at home ..And RJJ fought everyone there was to fight at lt heavy ,I mean who did he really duck ? G Man ? Im sure that fight would have happened had he not got injured in the Benn fight ..Benn ? I really blame King on that ..And Eubank didn't want anything to do with Jones unless he was the # 1 contender ..Outside of that who did he avoid ?

 

He avoided DM and avoided Tarver for a while until he finally gave him a go after he beat Ruiz. All I am saying is he could have fought ANYONE better than Fraizer, Kelly, etc. I can't recall all the names but he ducked some guys at LHW.
