Have you seen that fight? It was close till the 12th round, Sosnowski opened up knowing he wont win on points in Germany.

Vitali played with Sosnowski - he could knock him out in 1st round

Oh, are we holding the Ring up to some noble standard? I didn't realize we'd time-warped to before I was born...

Well, their ratings are not perfect but certainly better than any of the ABC's ones, so how the f*ck do they have a guy that hasn't beaten anyone since being schooled by Chambers? It makes no sense to me.

Kevin Johnson is more deserving of being in there, at least he beat Leapai who is semi-good and looked good doing it, Dimitrenko struggled against Sprott! At least Pulev will soon dispatch him.

when he loses to Pulev he'll fall out of that rank

never seen such a slow, robotic, glass-chinned bum like Dimitrienko before

The Ring's rankings are annoying similar to the Boxrec ones, both of which give too much credit to a string of mediocre wins against a couple of good ones.

Hence Dimitrenko, Arreola and even ****ing Mormeck (in the Boxrec rankings) are ranked higher than Kevin Johnson.

These both lists are totaly different.

Boxrec are pretty accurate for a current status, the one who fight
more often and who fight higher ranked fighters scores more points.
So it may happen that very inactive champion is surpassed by
highly active top contender even if in their fight this contender
    would be destroyed.

The Ring is very subjective and it ranks more historically, it is based
on popularity in the first place. You can get high rank, then fight once
per year only the boxers who are also very inactive but they are at
high rank as well. SO you can be totally irrelevant to the current
status of boxing but still remaining high in the rank.

I bet if Tarver, Jones, Johnson would fight only eachother, we would
    have Tarver-Jones XII , then Jones-Johnson X, and Tarver_Jones XV
this year and all for #1 p4p. :bbb

Not really. Shot older fighters are massively over-rated by Boxrec.
Case in point: Holyfield still #17 heavyweight in the world according to Boxrec :rofl:rofl
