Any good descriptions of what boxers eat?

    Anybody know of any good descriptions of the meals that boxers eat? Meal plans etc. pictures of the actual food would be great too. I remember there was a great pic of the klitschkos preparing a huge steak.

    Depends

    Vitali Klitschko is obviously a lot bigger than most other athletes nevermind boxers but ever since he's been with Sdunek he's been feasting largely on fat out of shape journeymen

    Someone like Manny Pacquiao who is a lot smaller naturally likes to have his meat lean so ensures he only feasts on drained opponents

    I have a copy of a boxing news special edition...Health and fitness vol 1: Nutrition.

    It gave a days meal plan for oscar dela hoy

    PRE-WORKOUT 05:30AM
    ounces organic grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)

    BREAKFAST 8AM
    Omelette made with four egg whites, spinach, turkey, organic pepper jack cheese, mushrooms, habanero peppers, and crushed garlic; cooked on low heat in organic flaxseed, avocado, and olive oils
    1 cup coffee with rice milk and 1 tablespoon all-natural brown sugar
    Water with lime-flavored EmerÍgen-C

    MID-MORNING SNACK 13:30AM
    Small plate of blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, and banana (eaten whole or blended into a smoothie

    LUNCH 12:30PM
    Spinach linguine with olive and avocado oils, crushed garlic, and a dash of granulated sea salt
    Spinach salad with cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, carrots, and crumbled blue cheese
    Salad dressing (organic almond, olive, avocado, walnut, and flaxseed oils mixed with apple cider vinegar, lime juice and spices)
    Water

    DINNER 06:30PM
    6-to-10 ounce filet of wild Alaskan salmon, pan-seared and seasoned with sauteed garlic and peppers (habanero and cayenne)
    Steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, or zucchini)
    Organic raisin-and-oatmeal cookie
    Water
