I thought Benavidez looked outstanding and dominant against Urushitami , i didn't see that coming , based on that , he should be the favourite to take the title when the eventual winner of McCall and Johnson come through , he was outstanding Sidenote , the final should already be set , Ian McCall was ROBBED !!!! against Johnson , and based off that performance is / should rightly be the #1 ranked fighter in the world @125 (something Benavidez will have a say in eventually) Jussier Da Silva will be relevant @125 at some stage in the UFC , they have missed a trick by not signing him already IMHO (somebody please correct me if they have) Yamaguchi is undoubtedly talented but too far set in his ways for the UFC at this later stage of his career Sidenote : if Joe ****** can make this division , which i have a hunch he can with the right diet and S&C plan , he will be a major force here :deal , more likely to fight @135 before he appears here though
Nah, the quicker guys will still find his chin, which I fear will be a mess now. Including a guy that, despite being 40, would also be a great inclusion to the UFCs 125lb division, Alexis Villa. In a perfect World Villa, Rambaa and Jussier would all be in there ASAP.
He reminds me of a young Sean Sherk , just an out an out murderous wrestler , if he could make the weight he'd be something else , he is clearly chinny but i feel he is fighting guys way too big for him , just a thought
Alexis Villa fight was at 135. Villa also competes as a Flyweight. Joe is what, 35? Can't see him achieving much all else, although he is undoubtedly a fine wrestler. I reckon Dodson would spark him for sure :yep
