Floyd Mayweather is much more boring than Vitali Klitschko

So what about Showtime & HBO? Are they "black" racists because they have chosen not to purchase any of the Klitschko fights? It has everything to do with style and showmanship. Manny Pacquiao isn't black , he isn't American nor can he speak english with the fluency of the usual box office draw but he has an exciting style that casual fans love and has the receipts to prove it.

If you're going to play the race card then you should probably realize that the Obsessed Klitschko fans on this board are rooting for him specifically because he's white and Eastern European. If the K brothers were black you would call them boring.

Floyd has personality that is very engaging. He is a proper showman who puts together events, not just fights. A Floyd Mayweather fight these days almost reminds me of the atmosphere of the Tyson fights back in the days. Tyson fights had far more electricity because we weren't sure then how long the fight would actually last but the point remains clear; Floyd has captured the imagination, respect, disdain and praise of the casual fan. Some tune in to watch him lose, some to watch him win.

Fighters in lower weight classes aren't under the same pressure for explosive KOs that Heavyweight Champions are expected to produce.

Floyd doesn't have the attributes or the style that fans can expect a quick, brutal KO. On the other hand watching Wlad fight is like watching your neighbor pull up with a brand new Maserati. Everything is great until he offers you a ride and refuses to go above the speed limit; that is the frustration that Wladimir gives his fans.

A man of his attributes is capable of steamrolling his opponents and beating them mercilessly but he chooses not to, rather he methodically breaks them down in an uninspiring fashion or boxes from a distance and scores a wide UD instead.

Vitaly has an awkward style that is a bit more aggressive than Wlad's but isn't aesthetically pleasing.

Last but not least, Floyd Mayweather's quality of opposition is better than that of either Klitschko brother simply because 147 is more stacked.

Vitali occassionally has some entertaining fights. Mayweather typically doesn't excite me much, at least not in the last several years. I can see where a guy might prefer Vitali; at least he typically gets knockouts.

Wlad is the all-time biggest bore in boxing.

 

I think vitali isnt that much of a boring fighter, same as I dont think floyd is. But if they were fighting the same night and same time and i wanted to watch an exciting fight? Id be watching floyd.

I don't like calling fighters boring, but Floyd's speed, reflexive sharpness, aesthetically pleasing defense, and accurate stinging power punches are far more entertaining in my opinion, and probably most fans'.

 

You're an idiot Brit. Vitali is just as graceful and his so called "arm punches" have the highest ko % in the history of boxing.

Highest KO % > Pathetic KO rate Floyd has.

 

Vitali, although a nice bloke, can't box eggs. He is very effective at what he does but his style is absolutely gross.

To compare him to Mayweather, who's skill level is on par with Robinson, Ali, Whitaker and Jones is almost too ****in stupid to take seriously.
