Great fight, I used to have that knockdown as my signature on here :good Check out the YouTube channel that vid's from, the guy has uploaded plenty of gems :thumbsup
Sot Chitalada - Charlie Magri Great fight while it lasted, Magri did well early on and even had the Thai buzzed at one point but the crisp counter punching from Sot had Charlie reeling and bloody in the 4th. Would've liked it to go on for a few more rounds, but there was only going to be one winner once Chitalada got his rhythm. Anyone for any other recommendations on any Chitalada fights?
:good That was quality Been watching lots of HW fights from the 1980s recently but hadnt seen that before
To see him at his absolute best, watch him quickly dissect decent contender Rae-Ki Ahn on YouTube....if I remember correctly Sot drops him with a jab at some point.
Their first fight is also excellent (and scheduled for 15) I felt Boza won the 2nd fight clearly, not a good decision at all IMO, admittedly in a great fight.
Yeah I thought Boza won as well, even though he was knocked down 3 times for the first two rounds and KD's i scored the rounds even as I though Boza won both so they shouldn't really affect the outcome. I think I only gave Chacon 3-4 rounds.
He was a natural light heavy though...you seen Skeeter Vs Rodriguez I&II? Epic and brilliant contests.
Torres. And yes, they are, highlights of both on youtube, which will make you want the full fights even more ;-)
All fair, and no falling out here :good He was vulnerable at either weight. But more of a 'natural' super middle and certainly prospered more at 175 :good ;-)
I watched Holyfield vs Moorer I today. I scored it 114-113 to Holyfield and he was unlucky to lose. Close fight, could have gone one round either way. The way the second round was scored is important - I gave it 10-8 to Holyfield, although Moorer had been clearly winning the round until the knockdown. The 112-116 scorecard was disgusting. Moorer jabbed quite well in this fight. I don't know how badly Holyfield's shoulder was hurting, but he showed heart. I thought that the HBO commentators were a bit too critical of Moorer, it was a very close fight... or maybe they were just expecting him to do so much more, but he was facing Holyfield, it's not as if he could have done what he wanted to do there. Same thing with Lewis vs Tua.
