Let Pac make his mistakes and counter. Pop shot em with a hard shot or hit em with a 1-2 combo. Pacquiao throws a lot of "amatuer" hooks..he literally leaves his feet and this is bad in boxing-you lose your "body position" and are vulnverable...I'd stay on my toes and keep Pacquiao off balance with a jab...as soon as he does his little "run in" thing he does, drop step him and pop him in his mouth with a straight right or a left hook...stay to the body, ESPECIALLY early as he is weak to the body. Also, if Bradley can take him to the inside, Pac has little game their...take him to the inside and bully him..land short shots and hard shots to the body on the inside- I think this is Bradley's best chance-Watch the left hand of Pac's too!
If I were instructing Bradley I would keep it very basic. High Guard Move your head , from the waist - staying off the line. Straight shots - although fighting a southpaw stance I still think the jab is the key. Dont go straight backwards , side to side. Make sure you keep your left foot outside of his , do not let him throw that left hand down the middle. This is what I would be working on for the 10 weeks.
I dont think you could come up with a successful strategy for Bradley to win. Survive, maybe, not win. He doesn't have the tools or the style to do what he needs to do. Bradleys strengths are his stamina, solid overall fundamentals and a decent ring IQ. Unfortunately, fighting a conditioning-type battle against Pac is suicidal so Bradley will have to rely on his boxing skills, which imo aren't good enough to beat Pacquiao. He makes some major mistakes too like pulling his right hand back which is gonna get him caught with right hooks all night.
You can outbox Pacquiao, stop him with a chin or body shot as evidenced by his two brutal losses and onesided loss to Morales. Just throw hard punches and don't give up.
It doesn't work like that buddy. Bradley would do best to mix it up between boxing laterally, jabbing, feinting, etc., and bursting forward with quick rushes on the inside. Maximize volume, get out. Keeping a low center of gravity is essential too; Manny's guard became much looser when he had to look for Marquez down by his waist, and there were opportunities from down low to come up and over with uppercuts and combinations. I'm looking forward to seeing how Manny deals with the speed. Bradley has the potential to make it a competitive fight on his and Manny's best night, and if Manny's slipping, whether it be reflexes or offensive focus, he's a fighter that can reveal it. I also think, that Bradley is in more danger from Pac's right hook in this fight, than the left hand. When he goes inside (Which he will, it's a major flaw in Pac) he'll need to keep close, and probably hold his right hand high to protect himself.
people seem to be giving pac too much respect which also was shane's downfall. tim is younger, bulkier, hungrier...he can't win pussyfooting around pac. he has to walk him down and knock pac out.
I think you fight Pacquiao intelligently and pressure him. Pacquiao does not like pressure and if you back him up he can't fight at all. Pacquiao can't fight backing up.
