    I'm a journalist in TN and I recently had an interview with Shannon Briggs. We talked about several things, including his relationship with Teddy Atlas and Mike Tyson ducking him. He also went into great detail on his fights with Ray Mercer, Vitali Klitschko, Lennox Lewis and George Foreman.

    I have it on good authority that Shannon Briggs was a really nice guy. Then he got the big fights and became an arsehole. I have it on the same authority that Pineapple head WAS on Steroids.

    Interesting to hear Shannon pick Foreman as the hardest puncher post Vitali beating. Immediately after the Vitali fight Shannon said Vitali was the hardest hitter but now he says Foreman again.Whatever. All I know is that both men could really hit like a mother****er.

    Truth. I think Foreman hits harder, but Vitali gave him the rougher beating.

    Yep strange considering Lewis was the only one who put him on his arse out of those men.

    Other than that i like Shannon his always come across as decent dude.

    Briggs is a nice guy and very friendly, but calling him a two time champion kinda makes my stomach turn. Hes never been a legit champion in my mind. Fun fighter to watch, but never a great fighter in my opinion.
