If Adamek beats Chambers does that mean Vitali has a better win than Wlad?

You must have looked at the fight on boxrec. He wasn't nothing near dominant over a guy who is known to be 50lbs overwieght and slowish even when in his peak shape. Aguilera is a Clevel fighter with one win over a blevel guy who had a china chin to be hit, and was also nearly 40.

I watched Adamek potshot well for a round then get caught and run for the next 9 rounds. It was a horrible performance watching Tomasz flee from an underskilled guy like that.

And as for being active, it was his first fight in 8 months. Hardly active IMO. Yeah, he's starting to become active taking consecutive fights, but an 8 mo layoff after being babied by Vitali is ridiculous. He was obviously questioning himself and if he belonged in the division after Vito played with him like a toy.:-(

Chambers has a fairly large fanbase in and around AC himself. I'm assuming that's where this one's gonna go down.
I can't see Adamek winning this one, but if he does, it will be by a close decision. I think Chambers just has a bit more power and will be more than enough accumulate power to get into Adameks head and send him running.

For the record Chambers by T/KO or UD with multiple KDs.:good

    Styles make fights.

But Adamek would go down as a more worthy opponent, so yeah.

If adamek does beat chambers I hope wlad fights him.

Thompson, arreola, adamek, povetkin. Those hopefully his next 4 fights.

I agree that Tomasz doesn't belong in the HW division, but he's still one of the top guys

I watched the fight twice, and I saw Tomasz box the way he always boxed at HW- keep the distance, jump in, combo, jump away, he's always fought this way, that's just his style :yep

hopefully Adamek and Chambers will give it a real good go on 16 June

I agree with this post, & i'm a big fan of Eddie, & like talking to him on Facebook, he's a nice guy. :good

However, if Chambers drops Adamek, I expect it will only be once, then Tomasz will get on his bike.

Anyway, i'm pleased to hear Eddie has a strong fanbase in AC too.

But it's one hell of a horrendous mismatch, Adamek would lose every second of every minute.

At least Chambers can win several rounds against Vitali, with his speed & defensive swagger. :bbb

Chambers is quite good counterpuncher,i dunno how Adamek gonna deal with this...since Adamek like throw lots of combos and then moves away or bend his head down, throwing 3-4 punches combos makes him vulnerable for counter .but this is ok against slower opponents.Chambers will keep catching him all the time.
I think Tomasz should forget about combos, just keep hands up and go for KO

    I'm curious about one thing

if Haye by some miracle beat Vitali/Wlad, and held thier belts, would he ever make a mandatory defence of his title? or would he say the only guys he'd defend his title against are the K bros? or would he retire and hope the WBC would make him Champion Emeritus ?

Possibly but I'm not sure, a lot of it depends on how the fight plays out. The one thing that makes me want to say no is that Chambers has been pretty inactive(1 fight in 2 years, Adamek has had 5-6 in that same time frame) and he's coming off an injury.

I've always rated Chambers higher than Adamek, think Wlad has the better win of the two, and think Chambers wins their fight but his inactivity and injury puts a question mark around him at the moment. It will be a good win for whoever wins but, due to a few issues, I don't know if Adamek becomes a better win for Vitali even if he does win.

that's just the nature of having a great champion atop of a division.

If adamek beats Chambers he's easily the number 4 hw in the world, Wlad defeating him enhances his legacy.

Chisora lost to Fury because he was 20 pounds overweight, ******. He went on to kick Helenius's ass and give Vitali his hardest fight since Lewis. As a matter of fact, I gave Chisora 4 rounds against him. How many rounds did you give ***** ass Adamek against Vitali?
