maybe in Mayweathers case no but certainly Pascal did this i think out of doubt

i do agree i think most of these concessions are to add control and dominance in the prefight and psych out your opponent

It could also show jealousy or doubt as you stated. Like the best question is why Mayweather decided to bring this up when Pacquiao became an option. Obviously because what Pacquiao has achieved when he moved up was overwhelming.

Same thing can be argued regarding Pascal. He was overwhelmed by how an old fighter as Hopkins fought him the way he did in the first fight so he brought this up.

It's obvious, psychologically, that they only brought it up because the main target(Hopkins for Pascal and Pacquiao for Mayweather) impresses them with their performance so they have to "question" it.

it also seems that Mayweather cant go back on his testing

maybe he doesnt want to test Mosley and Ortiz and Cotto but has to or it would look bad that he does it exclusively for Manny

Wouldn't shock me if he did do something. Two of the three greats in that era did. Why not him? He didn't act like a man who wasn't guilty either. Still, we have no idea as nobody put the demand out there BEFORE the fight got signed.

I put the blame on both Pascal for not writing this into the contract and the commission for not stepping up and demanding it. Not saying Hopkins is, but a cheater will cheat. That is what they do. It is up to the authorities to shut that down.

Unfortunately, the powers of Boxing are the dirtiest of the dirty.

He's going to take the testing crap with him all the way, it all started with Mosley. If Mosley wasn't desperate at that sad stage of his career and said no, while others followed, he would be forced to drop this nonsense. He knows a fight with him guarantees a lot of money so he's taking advantage of it like no one ever has in professional boxing history. Sad to say the least, especially as a huge fan of his.

He can take horse steroids. That old man will not beat Dawson, fairly. He would not have beat him 10 years ago.
