I want to see what people think about this, i know i will get some hate.

  2. What do you mean by overrated?

Khan is rated as one of the top fighters in the light welterweight division by most rational boxing fans. Some people will say they think he is the best in the division, on the whole, they are overrating him. Some will say that he doesn't even belong in the top 10 of the division, they are underrating him.

So whose rating of Khan are you referring to when asking whether or not he is overrated?

The same question applies to Haye also.

    Many thanks.

Khan by a long shot. He must be the most celebrated Olympic SILVER medallist in the history of the sport (he didn;t even win gold ffs), and Haye is a 2 weight champ that has never been knocked the **** out by a journeyman (he's still over-rated though).

    Haye.

At least Khan will have longevity.

Haye took us ALL for suckers and cashed out.

    Both underrated IMO.

Khan is good but flawed. Controvertially i'd rate him on the level of a Miguel Cotto (Cue abuse) By that he can destroy ver good fighters like he did Kotelnik and Judah and Malignaggie, but also look average againt fighters with the wrong style for him (Peterson and Maidana)
But he's still very good at boxing if he can kee the fight at range. One fo the best p4p imo. Just he has horrendous inside fighting skills.

David Haye is underrated too. He was boring against Wlad but he was still competetive in that fight. He is 2 weight champ, who IMO would destoy adamez and arreola and chisora and anyone not a Kbro. I'd even consider vitali haye a 50/50 fight.

    Pacquiao >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Peterson.
    Margarito >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Maidana>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Prescott.

Cotto is far more proven than Khan, and Khan is not on his level, at all (yet).

I'd give Khan a better chance againt mayweather than cotto.

At least Khan has a chance if he can keep the fight at range and work the jab and fast combos.

Cotto haz next to zero chance.

The most overrated thing I've heard said about Khan, is that he'd give a Mayweather a decent fight because of his style. That's all. The only one who thinks he could go that extra and beat him, is the deluded fanboy, Go Getto/Darni. For the most part, Khan, especially after the Prescott loss, is one of the most critiqued fighters on this forum.

And with Haye, the majority of the people had him as the clear underdog against Wlad. So again, that's hardly overrating, is it?

Do I spot another Brit-basher alt?

Con would be easily figuered out and once that happens he's ****ed since his stupid ass can't adjust for ****.

I don't like Cotto's chances against Floyd at all, but they are still much higher than Con's. :patsch
