1.Marlon Starling-his opponents at times just couldnt get through-in my opinion the best at the shell defence. 2.Harold Brazier-Kept those hands up which allowed him to fight werll into his 40s. 3.Steve Robinson 4.Felix Strum-say what you want when he goes into a shell prety hrd to hit. 5.Ike Quartey anybody got anyone else?
Graciano Rocchigiani and Nana Konadu Quite a lot of fighters could utilise a really good intelligent high full-guard, but didn't opt for it as their main weapon defensively.Nelson, Jofre, Olivares, Griffith, Hagler, Kalule, Watson, Zapata, Pea, Mayweather jr, Marquez etc./..even Cerdan his stance was something a bit different and more for offensive purposes imo.
mike watson, joshua clottey, nana konadu, artur abraham, emile griffith, in no order and other expansions. shell leads towards the mythical 'philly shell' defence. best say earmuff/peekaboo defence. BUT This content is protected This content is protected dealdeal:deal

felix strum is preety great at a lot of modern europeans are excellent at it. espically ones fight out of germany its like the german shell now lol to various degrees of success anyone from strum to zbick to huck to abraham to weber all are doing it..
The German fighters or fighters who learned to box in Germany who use a high guard are incapable of slipping, parrying, counter punching or doing offense and defense at the same time and are unskilled troglodytes. Abraham, Huck, Murat, Sylvester etc
