Sergio: "I Want MAYWEATHER after CHAVEZ!!"

From the cyberpress. Sergio was asked if his fight with Chavez falls through, will he want Mayweather. He says his only focus right now is Chavez but he's not entirely confident Chavez will meet him, so then he wants the toughest fight, who is Mayweather.

 

Sergio is a "G"! I wish he would fight Floyd first..

 

Was he a "G" when he was calling Pacquiao Arums puppet?

I didn't really like when he said those things but this is different. He wants to fight the best and if Floyd beats Cotto @ 154.. Why not fight Sergio @ 154? The best fighting the best.. I love those type of fights, Dont you? It's good for boxing!

 

And if Floyd was to fight and defeat Sergio, you would give him no credit at all. You would say he is old and drained at 154. You would then go back to how he is scared of Pac and ducked Margarito (because when he beats Cotto at his own weight that takes him out, even though you'll try your hardest to keep it up) and how he was "scared" of fighting Tree and was about to lose the fight before "sucker punching" him.

 

Who doesn't want that fight, seriously?

Slugger had damn well better give Floyd his props if he beats Sergio. He's been crowing about it for months.

 

I don't want it if Sergio is going to have to go down to 150 per Mayweather's demands.

 

I am a known Floyd critic... But if he beats Martinez @ 154, he should get all the credit in the world! I don't expect Floyd to go up to 160 because that wouldn't be fair. Floyd is an average size WW.. He's a small Jr. MW! Floyd is way too small for MW... I would praise Jr. if he beats Martinez.. I'd be shocked if he took the fight. HE WONT TAKE IT.. He will fight Canelo instead. Floyd has a track record of not fighting the best when the public wants to see the fight! It's the truth :deal

If Floyd beats Cotto and Martinez comes down to 154.. Yes, those would be the 2 best 154 pound fighters on the planet going at it! It's a dream fight..

 

I would rather see Floyd fight a tune up (since Pacquiao is to scared to fight in November) fight, and Martinez beat on Chavez.

This would give floyd reason to go up in weight and fight for a 6th weight class.

They could pull a De La Hoya-Hopkins and do the fight at 155 for the 160 title....Oscar did it and didn't get any **** for it...Floyd can do it.

Note-I know Floyd don't do catchweights, but this might be a good reason for one.

 

If Floyd went up to 160 that would be insane! :shock: That would be some SRL type ****. (Going up to 160 to fight the MW king Hagler)
