This is happening tomorrow night. It will not be televised. Originally, I had assumed it would be broadcast on the GBP live streaming channel (and televised on select Fox Sports Net stations/affiliates in some parts of the US) under the mistaken impression it was due to be part of their periodic Fight Night series. There were a few connections that made it seem so: 1) It's on a Thursday night, as the GBP cards always are. 2) It's in California, as the GBP cards always are. 3) Ramon Valadez is on the card, and has appeared several times on GBP's streamed shows from Cali on Thursday nights. However, the sum of evidence points to this not being shown as part of that series. Golden Boy Promotions apparently has no direct involvement with this. Roy Engelbrecht is the event promoter. It isn't at Club Nokia in L.A., which is the usual venue for the Golden Boy shows. GBP's website lists the next installment of Fight Night Club as being April 28th, and featuring Ramon Valadez (meaning he's pulling double duty in just over a fortnight) So...no coverage at all, it seems. Too bad, because while the winner probably won't go on to accomplish much this one is still pretty interesting and there are probably many of us who'd tune in for it on a Thursday night if it was an option. Anyway, we'll probably read about the result some time about 24-28 hours from now. What do you expect it will be? :think
What weight is it at IB? Stevie Forbes is under-rated for me, but he's developed some what of a sparring partners mentality in recent years IMO. I think he'll UD Augustus and with relative ease.

Well damn that sucks ass. I was hoping Augustus could at least try to go out on a winning note... Eh can't be too man considering his health is enough of an issue to get the fight canceled.
