I guaratnee that Cronulla is far less racist & far more culturally aware, i'd say the level of education is generally higher amongst residents than most areas & i'd say more people have disposable incomes that allow them to travel etc I know the real reasons for what happened on one day in Cronullas history, the fact that its only happened once in a suburb that is the only beach in Sydney with a train line directly on its doorstep where you get a lot of people coming in for the day & treating the area like a toilet is testament to peoples patience & composure
why?? I've witnessed this site for many a year, & i have noticed there are far more racist, homophobic people prone to violence & mysogyny, i'd say that without a doubt the level of overt machismo & misdirected testosterone is far greater than the general community Lets face it, Boxing doesnt generally have a really good public relations profile in the community, the majority of people shy away from anything violent
Because of the misguided waffle you posted below. Why an intelligent person would form an opinion on the majority of posters on ESB as anything other than tongue in cheek, **** stirring is beyond me (barring a few grubs, which BTW, are rampant in all activities). I've participated on more forums than I can poke a stick at, from home audio, car audio, car, motorcycle, caravan & camping, politics, and a few other topics, and the breath of fresh air this forums has over the others is quite astonishing. Don't forget, this lovely place we call the WWW is the ideal stomping ground for the very people you mention below, not just ESB. Sure we have the TC's and a few other grubs around here, but to label the community of boxing (as you have) based on some of the bad threads you've seen here is ignorance at it's finest.
All my views are ones that i have formed, & mine alone I too have witnessed many a forum & web based chat over the years, this one takes the cake as far as i'm concerned, how you cant see it defies belief, go & have a look in the lounge every now & again, & the Aussie side of things isnt much better in my opinion, so for individuals to get on their high horse & label succesful Australian entrepreneurs & sportsmen as "bogans" is pretty laughable, i just like pointing out the irony & chop that horses legs off at the knees

They're certainly not beyond reproach, as long as they are taken to task on pertinent issues, not frivolous, childish attempts at discrediting them, especially from hicks like TC, & let's face it, as I've stated, his ilk abound around here
