    No.
I fully expect to see his chin shattered once he fight's a Klit.
(No REAL expectations of Mitchell to be honest)

I only read 5 pages of comments not page 6

Seth Mitchell is slowish and lacks the natural coordination and reflexs of a boxer that started young eg 5-10 years old

He still has a punchers chance against anyone. He has good power.

there are easily 20 + guys in the world alot better than seth mitchell mostly because of their natural speed of reflexes and (speed of technique), combo's aswell

Im not questioning Seths fitness Strenghth heart and dedication. I dont think he will ever be the Unified or better heavyweight champion with more than four consecutive title defences. He is not nor will ever be good enough.

Gee I hope he never reads this!

He could achieve what I mentioned above only if he worked on speed reflexes and perfect technique with careful Bob Arum style matchmakeing

and never fight Odlanier Solis or David Price or Mike Perez

I haven't seen too much of Mitchell yet (two fights) but based on that, I'd say that he has a ways to go yet.
He'll never be another Tyson, guys with that innate talent come around rarer than Haley's Comet, but given the state of the division, there is a distinct possibility he could become a champ one day.

    Couple of observations:

    *Lacks natual fluidity
*Defensively he needs to tighten up a lot
*Not a spring chicken, does he have time to learn some finer points?
*Seems to have a solid but unspectacular punch

    Things I like:

    *Naturally big man
    *Has balls
    *Decent hand and foot speed
    *Looks eager to learn
    *Confident
    *Nice jab

All top 50 fighters would stand a chance against Seth - he might win 25 and lose another 25. Difficult to rate him before he takes on at top 10 guy.

    Who has Mitchell beat?

Mitchell is just another Travis Walker. He's a KO waiting to happen.

In light of the Witherspoon fight, has your opinion changed, or stayed the course?

No. Mitchell doesn't have an ounce of Tyson's talent or skill and he has a Glass Jaw. He is going to be more Klitschko fodder and will be savagely KOed when he fights someone with a pulse and a punch.

  15. He's not short. Tyson was short at 5'10 but 6'2 is not short. Just saying.
Seth is just not as tall as those huge guys. Seth is a perfect build. Thick. Not too big,not too small. I dont think a HW has to be 6'8 to compete. Look at the top ten contenders.
Boytsov is barely 6'1. Povetkin is 6'2,Chisora is 6'0,Adamek is 6'2, Arreola is 6'1,Chambers is 6'1 etc
There are plenty of guys that are not super tall that have skill. Tyson Fury is the only very tall guy who is any good after the Klits. Dimitrenko and Pulev are boring eastern European bums with very little skill from what I can see.
    Anyway,yes $uper $eth is gonna be champion.
