Ward is too good for Bute

 

I agree about him being a VERY talented boxer. . . But it was an excuse to say "he needs to fight somebody better." The fight didn't need to be built anymore? It's been three years in the making. Before he fought Froch, he had some pretty easy fights - Bika, Abraham, and Green. . . A man shouldn't worry about another man's resume, but just worry about his own, and what HE needs to do. . . LOOK AT FROCH? The man has had the most grueling schedule in recent memory? From 2008-2012 he's fought nothing but top 7 and up guys.

And he talks about Kessler ducking him? He refused to go to Denmark; why not? Kessler came to your hometown? Why is he even trying to fight Kessler again? And NOW he DUCKS HIS MANDATORY, ANthony Dirrell?

He needs to fight one of the Dirrell brothers, and then Bute if he beats Froch. . . It's that simple. . . He already ducked Bute once. . .

Plus, he's not exactly the most exciting guy to watch. . . I liked him in the KEssler fight, but that's about it. . . You gotta appreciate his skills. . . But I thought he probably should have been warned, and then penalized for holding in the Froch fight. . . From the 9th round onward, he literally clinched 10x per round. . . It is against the rules to clinch up.

 

Kessler and Froch were and Ward beat them both to unify 2/3rds of the title ..But you saying they were hyped is nothing new everyone is overhyped in this day and age ..I personally enjoyed the tournney with the best super middles taken on the best super middles ! As a fan tell me you don't want more tourney's like this so we don't have to go through all the politics ..

he wants to build fights. wouldnt a showdown with bute be much bigger, when bute defeats 2 times an good well known opponent like froch :!:

I dont understand why boxing fans are making excuses for ward. We should be demanding that the best fight the best i.e. Ward v Bute. Dont talk all this nonsense about ward deserves an easy fight. He is high on confidence and on a great streak. He should keep that high level going.... Its not like he is going to ever take training lightly no matter who he fights. Major respect for ward but i hope the bute fight happens after lucian is done with froch

Sorry when was he correct exacly when he said that Bute needs to fight one or two A lvl opponents before facing him or when he said that he is disappointed in Bute having a rematch clause with Froch because he would like to fight him instead ?

Yeah, I agree, he sounds stupid the more he tries to articulate why he "shouldn't have to fight" Bute, and guys like ANthony Dirrell. . .

Who the hell does he want to fight if not Bute?! Before Froch, he had three gimme's. . . Bika, Green, and AA. . .

Oh yeah, somebody PLEASE RIDDLE ME THIS! Why the hell was he so ready, and willing to fight Kessler again, but not a guy like Dirrell?! MOREOVER, why did he refuse to fight Kessler in Demark, despite Kessler fighting him in Oakland?

Hum. Bute works as hard as Ward and the rematch is only in the case Froch wins. What's Ward's problem again?

 

Grueling? Eh, for him, not so much? Between Kessler, and Froch (both stylistically suited for him, but yes, very tough fights), he fought Bika, Green, and A squared. . . You don't see Froch whining about other guys resumes? He just makes the best possible fights for the fans. . .

Ward needs to worry about himself. . . He should have been ready and willing to fight Bute to prove he the best 168'er BAR NONE. . . As of now, he is, but until he fights Bute, there's a question mark. . . AND WHY NOT fight Anthony Dirrell?!

Who the hell should he fight? Another Bika?! That's the type of thinking that is killing hte sport of boxing. . .

 

I could understand if Bute was demanding the fight be in Montreal. . . But from what I remember, he was willing to fight Ward at a neutral venue like Boardwalk Hall, or Vegas. . . .
