and please, Barrera wasn't shot, maybe pased his best, but certainly not shot and old? You do realize JMM is older than Marco right??...Dude was the best guy in his division and was rated in the top 10 p4p. You can also add Casamayor to that list, who was also the best dude in his division, although past his best, but then again 135lbs is not JMM's best weight neither.

He could have had more wins against elites had they not avoid him back in the early 00's. :good

Bad scorecards are bad seeds. They'll mess with the soil for a long time. People have gullible minds. We get people saying JMM-emmanuel III was a draw, or Mayweather-DLH close fight.

 

Poor Marquez...Even when he "beats" Pacquiao, Arum and his checkbook make sure he doesn't "win" the fight. Damn shame.

Shameful the history books won't show it as that, his legacy desperately needs just one of those Manny wins to solidify his career, but by him disregarding elite fighters near his weight and looking average vs B class, JMM didn't help himself any good

 

I have zero interest in a fourth fight at this stage. The more JMM talks about a quadrilogy, the more Arum will argue why it's necessary for there to be one before a Pac-May fight can be put together. Plus, I'd rather see JMM face Rios.

 

I felt Marquez beat Pacquiao for sure twice and has a good arguement for a 3rd aswell, the first was kinda even but perhaps more so cause the knockdowns

Marquez won the 1st and 3rd fights 9-3, or course the first being relatively close cause of the 3 knockdowns, the 2nd was a little closer 6-6, with JMM losing cause he got dropped, I truly can't see how anybody see the fights otherwise, if you consider yourself an unbiased fan.......................

 

I can understand a fan sayin they 1-1-1 even tho I have Marquez winning 2 of those, but when the majority of the world is backing up Marquez's claims I don't think he's being a sore loser at all when he is the fan's choice on who won those fights. Is Erislandy Lara a sore loser for not getting the decision in a fight most think he won? No, I don't think so.

Had Marquez winning all three fights. However the 1st fight i have no problem being scored for pac because of the three early knockdowns. Marquez gave himself a mountain to climb on that one, even though I feel he pulled it out. The other two fights were clear marquez wins.

 

True, but there are pacfans and then there are *******s. Be patient, there are afew who every now and then come to their senses it just takes time.
