Tell me you don't see Cotto doing this several times during the fight with Mayweather

Nope what? That the fight wasn't competitive? Everyone knows he was weight drained, but he was getting hit with the same shots in the first fight that he got hit with in the second round of their rematch. The signs were there.

Those that chose to believe Roy Jones was back from his hyperbole during training camp were duped. But I wasn't one of them.

You're using this shitty example to try and somehow bring parallel with this fight and it's truly silly, I suggest you stop this train of thought.

Why haters are so blind!!!!!!!!! The man who post this thread seems that is living in a bubble of time. You have the answer that you want 6 months after this fight!!!!! Castillo was unable to do 1/4 of what he does in this fight with a healthy Mayweather. The history 6 months later tells you a very different story.

There was a period where he barely used his right (as his shoulder injury got worse), but before then it was a potent weapon, and post-surgery it has been making a comeback.

You mean mostly missing, getting countered, every now and again landing something on Mayweather's back and even less often landing a scoring shot?
I see that happening quite a bit.

cotto isn't capable of educated pressure!? jlc's jab is mediocre at best. cotto is pretty good at throwing to the body himself. i've never seen cotto have trouble cutting a ring off. floyd isn't as mobile as he was back then. if hatton was able to get on the inside....and ortiz was able to get on the inside...i don't see any reason why cotto won't be able to get there either. i don't think cotto plans to outbox him. let's see what happens.

unlike shane and ortiz....cotto can fight going backwards. i think u are giving cotto very little credit. either that or u don't totally understand what u are seeing.

it's revisionist history with some of these cats. they are more fighter fans than fight fans.

i met tarver the day roy fought ruiz. i asked him what was next and he said he was gonna call out roy. i chuckled to myself and thought...be careful what u ask for. after watching the first fight...i thought tarver came as close as u could to winning....and i liked his chances in the rematch. everyone talked about roy having to lose weight. i picked tarver to win the rematch. i didn't think it would be by ko.

back then everyone thought roy was invincible...i knew otherwise. the first fight with montell proved some of what i saw. tarvers ko is one for the ages and has to be one of the biggest upsets of the decade. him asking..."got any excuses tonite roy?" is as classic as it gets.

floyd is beatable. always has been, but like roy and bhop and a few other guys who dominated inferior opposition...it's hard to lose when u pick ur opponents.

I didn't say you had to "like" him. But most if not all people who really appreciate the science respect and watch him.

Try to think outside of ESB, only those female type emotions are made a big deal of on here.

Wasnt really the point I was trying to make "How can you not" was the highlight but nonetheless I don't care one way or another how certain fighters are perceived (and while we're at it I am a fan of Floyd, at least what he does in the ring)

Also shouldnt it be the other way around- the "female type emotions" should be left before login--
