Floyd don't exactly have a bueprint to beat cotto either.

He can't beat him the sae way manny or margo did cos he's a completely differant fighter.

He could try and couter him like Zab Judah tried and see how far that gets him.

If anything cotto has a blueprint from a slightly simiar fighter in Castillo.

Mayweather has no plueprint to show a slick boxer beating up on cotto. He'll have to some up with his own.

When I heard Bryan mention something similar, he seemed pretty confident that they were going to "beat Mayweather at his own game" - if those were his exact words. He was smiling and seemed pretty sure of himself when he said that. Would be amazing if it all translates into the ring.

This would make sense if this was the same floyd moving around the ring like a yoyo. But unfortunately for cotto this is a mayweather who stands right in front of you and engages you.

They are banking on the fact that floyd comes forward in straight lines and Cotto becomes the boxer, counter puncher. This may well work indeed for the first 3 rounds, but this is floyd mayweather we are talking about. By round 4 he would simply change it up and adapt to what cotto is doing, before you know it Cotto becomes the engager and floyd the counter puncher without even realising it. Pac was able to make cotto step away from the game plan and get knocked down in the process, I'm sure a smart boxer like floyd will have similar success.

I know. But when all these people keep going on about blueprints. And there isn't one on floyd cos he's undefeated, i'm saying it doesn't work like that.

It only counts as a bue print if you have the style to implement it also.

So i'm saying just cos cotto got 2 defeats, he can't take to much from that. (except maybe to try and keep cotto on the back foot.)

SImarly, a previous fighter could lay a blueprint without actually beating them.

For exampe Collazo layed a perfect blueprint on hattin but didnt actually beat him. But he stil set up a perfect blueprint to follow.

Mayweather destroyed Mosley, but he laid no blueprint for Manny, as Manny would have to beat him in a completely differant style.

    Ya getz me.

True, he can take bits from the Castillo fight. And his fight with Judah. But he's bever fought anyone who stands his ground and fights in the pocket like floyd does.
SO they are going to have to come up with something new.

    read my whole post idiot.

I explain how the logic of undefeted/no blueprint isn't true. Its just a ******ed thing that floyd came up with.

When there's no blueprint, you draw one up piecing together the unfinished, incomplete sketches of other architects. If you're smart, you draw two, three, or more.
