some guys just do it to have a pro fight. they're not serious about a career but they want to have fought in the pros.
Similar to Joe Calzaghe's record. He can finish his career up with wins over a parolled Prince Nasim and a controversial win over a 50 yr old Barrera and then call himself a legend.
Yet he succeeded where Wlad failed and beat Ross Puritty :rofl:rofl I've seen some stranger ones: Lack of power to say the least: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=129817&cat=boxer From pro debut to 29-0 in 16 months: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=541572&cat=boxer Another German fighter knocking over a bum every couple of weeks, but check August 2011 - weighed 190.5 lbs on the 13th - 7 days later weighed in at 175.25lbs. WTF?! http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=431320&cat=boxer How are these guys even allowed to fight? http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=35224&cat=boxer http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=18803&cat=boxer His age, his entire record... :scaredas: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=131476&cat=boxer
I think this is a strange record tbh You guys konw how every champion go through a list of bums and journeymen during their 'record padding' stage? Everyone did it on their way to a 20+ and 0 record. The only CHAMPION to ever lose to a bum during his RECORD PADDING stage is wladimir Klithscko who got iced by Ross Purrity . Purrity was a record padder. That loss stands out on it's own. Find me another champion who lost during his record padding run
Damn....that William Fernando Souza Bezzera guy had 30 amateur fights found his amateur record 30-0 (KO 21)...cant beleive this guy has actually fought only people with winning records, not the best opposition but still, this guy must carry some serious power, you dont get 13 straight KO wins (none are tko's) being feather fisted! And oh here is the link to his amateur record: http://www.boxing-scoop.com/show_boxer.php?boxer_ID=11078
