Much clearer victory for Harada this time round, but jofre showed glimpses of the required style to defeat the japanese buzzsaw. He just wasn't sharp enough to pull it off himself. I'm not sure he ever would have been. Then again, there's never been another BW like Harada so Jofre is probabaly safer against the field.

 

Woah, the 2nd fight was far closer IMO.

 

In a way I agree. The rounds were much closer than the first.

And in the first, the rounds harada won clear were very very clear.

However whilst I thought most of the rounds in the rematch were close, I thought view were closely won by harada. Over the course of 15, his performance was very very impressive.

 

I felt Harada won the first close but clear...the 2nd was actually debatable IMO..didn't have it that wide.

Sure you ain't got 'em round the wrong way? The 1st fight has the 4th round where Harada has massive success and is all over Jofre.

 

nah, I felt harad won his rounds big in the first fight, but his gameplan for the second half was wrong.

in the rematch I felt the rounds were much closer but harada won more of them (2 more to be precise). I felt harada was much more consistent in the rematch which for me is more impressive than building a huge lead and sitting on it.

I think scoring either for jofre is a stretch.

to summise, the rematch had more close rounds, but harada's performance was more impressive to me.

 

I actually agree with Luf and IMO the rematch was a more clear win to Harada......

Phenomenal. I used to class hsi cuevas victory as his best, but this here was something else. Duran was stripped of his title as well so it would have been a unification bout.

Noone ever dominated Duran that way in the rest of his career (spanning a further 20 years )

Absolutely one of the greatest performance in filmed boxing history.

 

We have similar ways to score Luf......we disagree about round 1 only.....
