Brisbane are on fire. Another clinical display in a dominating performance. Could easily have won 30 blot, as the Raiders sole try had a touch of tit about it.

I reckon $2.50 is great value for Souths this Sunday. Warriors have been a train wreck and have dropped a lot of ball without even looking good. With Locke out, it just makes the task easier.
Taylor will have a big big one as he looks to push his claim to represent his country, and the usual suspects, GI, and Luke will set the scene.

    Souths by 10.

 Harsh. Newcastle will get better I reckon. I would have Boyd back at the Dragons in a heartbeat.

The Bemnnett transition at the Dragons happened immediately. I believe they lost their first match under Bennett by 1 point away to Melbourne, then went on to win 5 or 6 in a row. The Knights are looking bottom 3 material and just look slow and pedestrian.

Bennets got to many players under contract at the Knights that he doesnt want, wait till next year when he has free reign to get rid of the dead wood & bring a few players in

That was a shite night of football IMO...Dragons-Knights was terrible...Raiders-Broncos not as bad but to one sided.

Yeah im glad you see it like i do Pecks.

As a fan of both sports.

Rugby League have a great game to market but the fact there way behind in every aspect just makes me wonder how Wide Open and Whatarock can defend him.

1.. How about you form your own opinion & tell me where you think David Gallop is at fault & how bad Rugby League is going etc, rather than just a couple of links from "newspapers"

2..If you are going to post links from the media, how about not posting ones from News limited, they represent the gutter press

For the massive coin Bennett is on, he should be getting a lot more out of a far stronger team that Mick Stone took to the finals.

I reckon he'll eventually get them firing a lot better than at the moment, although i hope not, i'm not much of a Bennett or Newcastle fan, but i reckon theres a few players there that just dont fit into his way of coaching, he likes the work-aholic Beau scott & Boyd type players he had at Saints, i'd say theres a few players there at the moment who already know what Bennett thinks of them

I've noticed he's not real big on Islander players unless they are absolutely exceptional

The Dragons finished 7th in 2008 before getting flogged and eliminated in week 1 of the finals, in 2007 they didnt even make the finals.
Knights finished 8th last season, and didnt make the finals in 2010.

    Pretty similar circumstances.
