Only a puncher's chance for Froch.

Lucian Bute is younger, faster, and stronger. I know there's more to it than that but right now this fight looks to be in his favour.

Full credit to him if he pulls it off and gets his first full credible win. But go Froch go.

Bute will most likely win a lopsided decision (maybe closer on the cards due to the crowd), and a one punch KO would be very surprising here, given that Froch will probably try to outpoint him from the outside and is very aware of Bute's left.

I could see a late round TKO, though. Carl knows he's losing the fight, he gets wild, Bute clocks him a few times (maybe dropping him). He gets up on shaky legs but the referee stops the fight.

Anyways, I voted Bute decision because it's the more probable outcome.

I just can't see Froch beating Bute, even in Nottingham. . . Bute is way too fast, too sharp, and hits hard as ****. . . If there was more of a length/reach dynamic in favor of Froch, I'd say he'd be able to get that jab home, and maybe win. . . But since Bute is actually a bit taller, and is just as rangy, Bute has the timing drop due to his speed.

I think Froch will find a way to make it to the final bell, but by the 8th, he'll be completely discouraged from coming forward. . .

Froch is hugely under rated on here, well either that or Bute is hugely over rated.

I gotta be honest, I thought Forch beat dirrell due to the point took from Dirrell, I think Bute needs to win 8-4 to get the decision due to the home advantage and I can't see Froch winning less than 5 rounds,

and I know for a fact that there will not be a knock out.

Bute's range is actually not very good. Some haters even say he has t-rex arms. Bute's timing, accuracy and very precise footwork compensate for that. If I were Froch though, I would try to use my reach advantage to keep Bute from boxing at mid-range, where he's at his best.

The crowd factor (the only advantage because the judges won't be all English) will play only in the close rounds.

Bute knocks him out. He has to if he wants to win this.
