Johnson by KO. Jack would tie cleve up then knock him spark out any time he wanted. Johnson at his best could stop anyone working, you had to be as clever as johnson and a world beater to beat him. williams was not either.

Even Seamus thinks Johnson wins this fight.. that tells you how much of a sure thing it really is

Put Cleveland Williams in a time machine and he'll knock out every HW before Gene Tunney.

No way. cleveland never won a competative fight agaisnt a curent rated heavyweight during even the floyd patterson era. All world champions would be competative at the very least so how does he beat them? williams just was not championship material. Big athletic fast man with a punch against b-and c-list types. thats it.

Who is the fighter analogous to Williams in size, strength and punching clout that Johnson defeated?

At the very least, would anyone argue that Williams would NOT have the most dangerous opponent Johnson had ever fought?

Nah, Johnson fought Sam Langford for starters.

Who did Williams ever knock out who was really any good ?

So, a 154 pound Sam Langford who had not even beaten a seasoned, decent heavyweight is more dangerous than a 215 pound Cleveland Williams?

ESB´s version of Cleveland Williams would make it very competative. The real one would get dominated and stopped.

Who that Johnson fought was more dangerous than Williams? Who that Johnson stopped was better?
