There is nobody really taking care of this kid,he's been pushed to fight below his limit, draining himself, someone whos style is getting hit twice to land one, someone who fights with such intensity.I wonder what are Arum plans with him, its so ****ing unfair.I met him in Miami, a funny dude, blending with the cubans around him, answering questions with his horrible spanish but never arrogant or disrespectful, just using the trash talk they all use before the fight.Risking so much for such irrelevant fight.
I still expect him to win tonight, but the risks of a tragedy of an emaciated boxer are there.Someone must step for him, Garcia shoudnt allow this never again.

Arturo Gatti was the same way, minus the trash talk.

I don't feel bad for him at all. Once again he signs on to fight at 135 after saying he was done in that division and once again he fails to make the weight. **** Rios.

He also has his own mind and his own say on what happens in his career.

He has a style which relies on being much bigger and stronger than his opponents. He knows that, his promoter knows that and his team knows that.

He knows if he goes up in weight then he'll surrender those advantages so he's trying to stay at 135 for as long as possible.

i agree with this. nothing special in rios really. he'll look ordinary once he goes up. right now he just relies on bullying his opponents and wearing them down.

It was a ridiculous move to stay at 135 for this fight. Absoloutely nothing to gain and everything to lose against this guy, the fight had all the grounds for his official move up to light welterweight.

He weighed in at 139. Not as drained as if he had made weight.

His advantage is being the naturally bigger guy, but yeah, that advantage is diminished at least somewhat by the fact that he's drained.

Yep, he actually weighed two pounds more the second time. Same thing happened at the weigh in for the Murray fight and this *** tried to blame it on the scale. :verysad
