Most would say he was stunned by Hearns but I don't know it's hard to distinguish between someone being hurt and someone being knocked off balance by the power of a shot. Chuvalo got hit by a massive left hook by Foreman which forced him back into the ropes but he didn't look out of it so might've been just the force of the blow :think?

Like someone else said nobody can fight world class fighters without being stunned at least a few times.

Rocky Marciano never seemed out of it and was never on rubbery legs.

I think one of the more underrated/not talked about chins would be Tony Galento i seriously think its Top 5 material, maybe even number 1. Unlike Lamotta, Hagler, Chuvalo, McCall etc. Tony had literally no defense even Tex Cobb was blocking and dodging shots by Holmes and Shavers. Tony would just come forward face first and eat anythign coming his way, which would add more power to the shot as he was colliding with the punch. Over 100 fights as a pro, fights from Middleweight all the way up to heavy as an amateur and many many rounds of sparring only decked twice by none other than Joe Louis. He met some big punchers like Lorenzo Pack, Lou Nova and the Baer brothers and if he had never met Joe Louis he would never have been decked in a 100+ fight career.

Chuvalo wobbled into the ropes and sort of turned his back. He was buzzing.

    I know.

Just saying, Morales has his brains rattled more then once. Christ, it happened a few weeks ago against Garcia.

what i meant was that they were more than just stunned , and more than once each , especially in Morales' and Chavez' cases .

As far as I remember, only Morales ever really hurt McCullough albeit very breifly and it wasn't like Wayne was on particularly rubbery legs or anything.
