There are some very harsh posters around when it comes to Eubank. As usual, IB, you are a reasonable voice amidst the knee-jerk reactions on ESB. I think Eubank's doing fine. He showed some good attributes in his first fight, showed great composure to win his second with an injured hand, and his flaws are those you commonly see in novices and prospects. We can slam the door on him in another ten fights if he's struggling with domestic-level guys.
Mick is really deluded! I remember when he claimed Froch is the best super middle in the world despite Calzaghe and Kessler still around plus others!
To be honest I'd like to see Fury just fight about 5 fights in a row at a lower level like this, he's has raw talent but needs to refine certain things before fighting a good fighter.
No doubt Mick will tell us that Eubank jnr is ready for Barker, Macklin etc and they will bring Martinez over in the future after the fight.
