    Fedchenko jumps around on the outside, foot placement a bit erratic. Long jabs by Fedchenko. Marquez bobs left and feints with both hands, coming forward and jabbing up top. Wild left hook misses by Marquez and Fedchenko lands a counter right from outside. More wild jumping by Fedchenko, very anxious and moving constantly. Marquez stuffs a jab in his mouth and drives forward. Marquez shoots in with a quick right to the body. Another right to the body, but Marquez misses a rising left hook. Fedchenko dances around and blocks a 1-2. Marquez lands a cuffing follow up hook.

    I scored the fight for Abril, 9-3 rounds (3rd, 8th, and 12th for Rios) and 117-111 points. I am ENRAGED by the ongoing corruption in these decisions!!! Absolutely SICK of "name" fighters, or fighters with scheduled megafights coming up, or fighters promoted by King or Arum or whoever else, getting decisions they do not deserve!!! And this time in Las Vegas, which most people ASSUME is as neutral a site as you can find!!! Every time we get a decision like this, the sport dies a little more. Abril came in with a perfect gameplan and carried it out perfectly. He not only had Rios completely confused, I am sure he landed many more power punches than Rios did. I want to see much more of Abril going forward, and hope the very least he gets is a shot at the now vacant WBA lightweight championshiop. Don't much care about Rios in his next fight, it is a "fake" fight anyway, as he would never have gotten it without the corrupt decision tonight.
