This is the easiest fight to forecast in a long time. Rios comes forward without the offensive or defensive skills or power of Pac. Training camp will be Marquez plucking chickens cuz that's about what will happen in the ring.

Kinda fuzzy, but is this the fight I felt sorry for Katsidis in or am I thinking of another fight?

Katsidis is a good figher in his own right, he is a relentless pressure machine who doesn't back up, and comes at you hard... he caught Marquez and theres nothing that can change that, if you watch the fight... marquez outboxed him and tko'd him in spectacual fashion... straigh dominated him even the round he went down, it was a flash KD. rios doesn't fight that way, his pressure is not constant, or relentless when he is being hit or outboxed he resets and comes back in, Marquez would pick him apart.

I hope your not putting to much weight on that KD, i know you use to use it as bullets to your agendas... but sorry that's not how Boxing works...

so Kats> PACQUIAO? cause kats put him down? :yep

About the only thing good about this night was that Rocky III was playing during Alvarado-Herrera. Perfect timing.

it was a good showing. people are expecting jmm to just dominate katisidis right from the start due to katsidis' attitude about just moving forward without regard to defense. surprisingly, katsdis' activity and workrate has made a fight out of it, like the juan diaz fight, and jmm has to chop and wear him down little by little until the stoppage.

thre you go buddy....:good styles buddy its all styles.

imagine is PAC would have fought marquez like did in part 1... it would have been a much different fight.. either PAC ktfo Marquez, or Marquez schooled him harder... you just never know

i don't even remember that KD. i remember katsidis' workrate giving jmm fits. and pac floored jmm 4 times before in jmm's prime weights so don't get confused.

i'm just saying that for a katsidis type of opponent, workrate and some power, it's not given that marquez would dominate in a full one-sided action.

OMG Ibrahim Vural > Levan Kirakosyan > Carl Johanneson > Ricky Burns > Michael Katsidis > Manny Pacquiao

Vural proven P4P #1 ATG 15-0 no blueprint.

well maybe not winning, a good amount had him winning, but a lot of people thought it was going to be a close SD type deal

It had been a while since we got to see Marquez straight box (Diaz 2, I believe), and Fedchenko definitely studied Marquez's come-forward habits. It was great to see him adjust. Overall good card. I wonder what's in the cards for July...
