exactly how i see him playing it. im sure sultan has watched brewster and peter try to come out swinging and get hammered by wlad. the sanders fightplan is an obsolete imo at least for Sultan. he doesnt have sanders' power and size and wlad fights very caustiously in the opening rounds now.

now, if he tries to come after wlad like gangbusters wlad stops him in 1 or 2 rounds. otherwise, i expect wlad to cut the ring off and finish him off by the 6th. i dont like sultan's chin much either. he got shook up pretty good by holyfield's straight right. i dont think wlad will have to land too many power shots to finish the job.

Relentless, do you have the same feeling about this one as you had for Haye/Mormeck and Pavlik/Taylor 2?

I don't see Sultan lasting 12 with Wlad. Wlad has come a long ways with Emanual Steward in his corner, his jab is really a force. Sultan gets stopped.

Thats what I'm perdicting judging by Sultans last couple fights, though he gave a very weird interview to Brian Kenny a couple weeks back, saying in broken english that he got a little surprise for Wlad in the ring come fight time, what that means, I dont know, but I have a strange feeling he might come out in the first round and give Wlad a tough time, thats why I said will know after the first round.

Other than the Austin fight, Wlad has been very catious early on, not to blow his load to early as was the mistake against guys like Brewster, Purrity, and even Mercer, where he cheeks got real blue and looked in bad shape after the 3rd or 4th round, but when you look at the punch stat numbers, you could see why. Iggys only real chance is to either blitz Wlad early before he settles into his comfort zone of jab, grab, and occasionally throw a right, or he can wait it out, which seems like he's going to try and do, hoping Wlad gases out, and the fight becomes target practice for Sultan.

even in the austin fight, wlad was very patient. remember he didnt throw 1 righthand. the ko left hook came from a long distance when austin was walking away with his hands down. i think the only way wlad will be aggressive early now is if u come right after him.

I'm not sure about Paul-Carlos, but the others were obvious.

I'll do a 6-month ban on this fight, I'm picking Wlad.

obvious my ass, cotto-mosley was 50-50, kessler was supposed to be calzaghe's first real threat since lacy and alot of people picked mormeck to ko haye.

Thats true, but he seemed to want to finish Austin early that night anyway and prove to his fans that Austin didnt even deserve to be in the ring with him that night, and he even said something afterward about being forced to fight him because he was the mandatory and not his choice of an oppenent.
