Bum bum is the only cheat here coming in 4 pounds overweight (all this talk of being drained is laughable, his team knew exactly what they were doing).

The way Abril spoiled Rios' inside game with the shoulder was effective as ****, nothing illegal about it. Rios hardly landed a flush shot all fight, Abril was landing the cleaner more effective shot by a mile.

I've been saying for time Rios will get exposed as soon as he steps up against someone with ANY boxing skill. Against a boxer/puncher like Kevin Mitchell he would get KTFO

Freddy you should seriously quit trying to score fights

    Rios lost, period.

I guess I must be pro-Cuban and anti-Mexican for holding that opinion.

Little Green Men From Mars 100,000 years from now digging through the fossils of human civilization will unearth a tape of that PPV and score it a shutout for Abril, and decide that it was a good thing we ultimately went extinct once they hear the judges' verdict.

    Natural selection, they'll call it.

:good and I didn't have much problem with Molina's performance. I think the ref should have warned him a lot earlier though

Clearly the judges agree in terms of the style etc, it's not being rewarded and that's the most positive thing I guess. Much like Molina-Kirkland once Abril wasn't allowed to constantly hold the fight started to turn some. I understand clinching when hurt, I have no problem with smothering opponents and controlling space, but the blatant holding is ridiculous.

I will come out -- straightforwardly and unequivocally -- and say that Abril's boxing tactics should be praised. He has mastered the art of hitting and not getting hit in return.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with boxing, running, and holding, as long as it gets the job done. If the slugger/aggressor/pursuer doesn't like it, then let him display superior athleticism and fighting instincts in order to trap his elusive foe.

Rios got his ass kicked last night because he is inferior to Abril as an athlete and a fighter. End of story.

Abril: you are one hell of a fighter.

Even Stevie Wonder wouldn't have given Rios more than 3 or 4 rounds Freddy.

Agree that Abril is garbage, but he won that fight.

Rios showed how limited he is, he never changed from plan A. He was clueless out there.

Molina was worse, I don't know what you're talking about.
