Will Hopkins use the same stragey that Pascal used in his rematch with Dawson?

So do you think oldman river will use lots of feints, movement(we seen some of it in the first 2 rounds of the first fight) counterpounch, be unpredicatable(the way Pascal was) and get back in defense for the incoming while still using good lateral movement and smothering him on the inside?

But i fear for Hopkins sake that the penny may of finally dropped with Chad Dawson that he now knows he has to start letting fly , if Dawson is negative and jabs all night he gives Hopkins a chance , if he puts together his combo's with " bad intentions " he may well take a wide decision and retire Hopkins

 

He's far too old to even think about fighting like Pascal who explodes from the outside with wild swinging shots, that's what spooked Dawson and he had problems countering it but Hopkins physically can not fight like that at this stage.

 

I think we're gonna see another shock Arc ane. I'm not buying it that he can't do it. Remember this is something that was said many and many of times before.:good

I said he CAN win, but I think the younger and (to a certain extent) busier Dawson will edge the close decision.

 

That strategy to beat Dawson has come and gone, it won't work again
even if Pascal used it.

 

Swing like a mother**** for a minute, take a minute 30 off, and swing like a mother**** again to end the round? Also gas completely down the stretch.

Hopefully not considering Pascal literally was out on his feet in that final round before the headclash and the ref stopping the fight for no reason.

He has always had a problem with athletic fighters with above average ring IQ's. Jean Pascal was athletic, but does he understand all these factors that Teddy Atlas is talking about..? on a intrinsic level mentally and physically..?

Hops will do it like Pascal but his own way which will contain more inside fighting, instead of exploding in like Pascal BHop will sneak his way in.

Plus, Pascal wasn't even close to being floored. He got rocked but if you watch closely, he starts to recover like 2 seconds latter and then he barely even grab, he seems ok. He even landed the last round of the fight.:bart

BTW, it is arguable that Dawson was hurt far worse a few rounds before when he had to grab Pascal's leg (Diaconu did the same in their first fight if I remember well).

 

B-Hop has always struggled with speed and at his advanced age, it's even more apparent. He can't fight 12 active rounds(or even 8 for that matter) Dawson just has to be aggressive.
