that is complete bollocks, Vitali was making that fight hell for Lewis and the cut stoppage saved him in reality. Not to say he didnt deserve to win the fight, these things happen but he definitely dodged a bullet and lets face it if the original opponent didnt drop out he would have knocked him out and fought someone else straight after! He said it himself "i was thinking about having another fight" then he ran into Vitali and the fact that he hurt lewis in that fight and could have possibly stopped him thats why lewis refused a rematch because he couldnt fight another bum so he just announced his retirement Lewis TKO 6, but Lewis retired so he didnt have to fight Vitali again . . . .that is the cold hard fact :deal
