Whats the rush in Ward turning pro in the first place. Only 18 I think he would want to stay Am and go to an Olympics after that turn pro. No matter what he does he will be exciting to watch. I think and hope he stays Am and I expect the High Preformance team will want him to stay am up until the next Olympics and he will be sorted with a bigger deal than 1 he would be offered now if he waits and wins a Gold medal he will get a big bucks deal when he turns pro.

Remember Egan saying he was going back to 81kgs because of the 3 spots plus 1 wildcard .

dnt think its a case of anyone rushing him to turn pro- he has loads of offers on the table and has all but being courting it as far as i hear. its a personal decision! i hope he waits

Ye Europe only have two wildcards and they are at 81kgs and 64kgs , surely he'll get it. He is the highest ranked boxer not to qualify.
