What do you guys think about Coach Diaz?

The way he trains Cotto on 24/7 looks very interesting, he sent out Cotto with the perfect gameplan against Margarito. He has a PhD and the stuff he always talks are already legendary. Solis did also very good against Vitali until the "Knockout".

I think he's cooler than Cotto(e). At least he talks and has interesting one liners.

He's pretty good. He appears to be one of the best in the game, but I have to see him more in order to really proclaim that

I know it's just the amateurs, but you can't deny his achievements with the Chinese Olympians in 2008.

He was actually co-trainer in the Cuban's corner the night Mayweather made himself the 1st American in 20 years to whoop a Cuban's AZZ in the Olympic games.

To me, he seems smarter than half of the trainers out there.

  10. agreed....at the same time ...its feels/seems like more than half of the trainers out there are garbage and offer nothing during a fight

Dont know much about him so to me he needs to prove himself at the professional level, this is a different beast. Having said that he does not lack confidence. Looks extremely knowledge, has a Phd in science, and I like the game plan he had Cotto use against Margacheato. Still it will be a tall order to beat Money. If he can have Cotto do it it will leave little doubt about his skills as a trainer.
