Fighters as commentators

    I may sound crazy but for me fighters dont make the best commentators. The only one I really think does it well is SRL he is a fountain of knowledge and has the charisma to do the job. Roy Jones Jr was commentating for the Maidana-Khan fight not too long ago and I think lampley said something like "Maidana's confidence doesent change because he has the unique mentallity of the puncher with one shot he can turn the whole fight around reguarldess of losing rounds." and Roy jones jr goes like "yeah..anything can happen" and the way the lampley said it was a perfect explanation for me about the punchers mentallity and roy jones is just says like he could get lucky rather than he has the power to KO him idk and George Foreman I love as a commentator but mainly from a comical perspective with his southern grandpa voice and random quotes lol what do you guys think?

    Tarver is pretty good, from what I've seen. I think Malignaggi would be good too, but I have no idea if he has any interest in the job.

    Most people don't like him but I enjoy Roy's commentary. I wish he could land a full time gig and hang up the gloves.

    Paulie Malignalli would be great. His fight analysis is always on point and very unbiased.

    Roy Jones is a good commentator; he knows thrice more when compared to Max (tintin), Lampley, Merchant and Stew combined; his insight is for the common man so they can understand what's going on.

    George had nice sideshow with Merchant, if you're into verbal confrontations.
    Tarver is great and Lennox was ok in HW-fights. Roy's fake laugh is annoying.

    I love Jones and Tarver they know better than commentators what fighters think in the ring, they know much more than commentators that never stepped in the ring, i respect their oppinion much more than Merchants or any other commentator!

    Enzo Mac is awful.

    The best are Antonio Tarver, BJ Flores, and (although he can be overly negative by times) Jim Watt.

    I also like Barry McGuigan and Glenn McCrory.

    Surprisingly good commentator. Needs to stick to it rather than continue to box.

    I would actually pay just to hear that mans fight analysis.
    It would go something like this.

    Merchanant: round one begins,
    Roger butts in. "well larry you and all at hbo and most people, they really dont know **** about baxin, etc etc... Pure gold!
